The news about the UAE’s first female astronaut going to conquer the space inspired the artist to create the design of this scarf. The scarf depicts the mind and the strength of a woman as well as numerous national symbols of the UAE. It aims to raise a woman’s spirits: “Be a woman who is not afraid to do what she wants to do. Be a woman who takes risks to achieve her goals. But still be a woman: inspiring and bringing beauty into this universe”.

This is the way to say Island of Arabs in Arabic. And in the design of this scarf, we see exactly those components and basic elements that symbolize the Arabian Peninsula: the desert sands, the waters surrounding this desert peninsula, and camels as symbolic ships of the desert.
This artistic work conveys the beauty and originality of the Arabian Peninsula, which still preserves its legacy and splendor to these days.
This artwork was inspired by Al Burqua’a. Handcrafted of delicate fabric and worn over the face, this accessory is traditionally worn by married women. It provides modesty to women.

Did you know that the vast desert occupying much of the Arabian Peninsula used to be lush jungles about 7000 years ago? In the course of history lush palm jungles changed for modern jungles of the Gulf megacities. Depicted in this scarf as the embodiment of the nature itself, a woman with her inborn grace and natural softness as if inflates life in these modern jungles filling them with her overwhelming beauty and tenderness.
